The World Racing League got its fourth round of the 2026 season underway at the beginning of June. AE Victory Racing were one of the team competing at the Daytona International Raceway with an all female racing team ready to hit the track. This time out, the team consisted of Alana Carter, Laura Hayes, Michele Abbate and Sally Mott. They qualified on the front row of the grid for the fourteen hour race and proceeded to jump straight into the lead of the race when the lights went out.

This weekend was one of the most fun race weekends I’ve had in a long time. The team chemistry at AE Victory Racing was incredible, and everyone worked so well together to bring the #120 car home in P1. I couldn’t be happier with how the weekend went, and I’m so proud of everyone on the team for all of their hard work and dedication. It truly was a complete team effort, and I’m grateful to have shared such a special weekend with this group.” – Sally Mott

The team had a near perfect race as they led 330 of the 338 laps, nailing every pit stop, driver change and strategy call along the way. It was an incredibly dominant win that not only showcased the hard work behind the scenes but also the talents of those behind the wheel in the form of Carter, Hayes, Abbate and Mott.

Gracie Mitchell

One of two entries on this list to have excelled in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain, Gracie Mitchell definitely earned her place after her performance at the start of June. After securing double pole position for the weekend, Gracie went on to win the first race and achieved the fastest lap of the race for good measure too. She then finished in P2 in the second and third races of the weekend, rounding out an incredible weekend of form for the young driver.

In her second year competing at Pikes Peak, Emilia was racing in the Time Attack 1 Class driving a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette. Emilia finished in P17 overall with her time being good enough for P4 in the Time Attack 1 class.

The aforementioned time, 10:11.018, meant that Emilia thus became the fastest woman in history to go up Pikes Peak. It’s an incredible achievement, especially in only her second year competing at the mountain.

After finishing the first race of the weekend at Virginia International Speedway in second place, just 1.5 seconds behind race winner Ford Koch, Anna Cecchi took things up a notch the following day for the second and final race of the weekend.

Not only did she turn the tables and beat Koch, after starting from second on the grid, but she eked out a gap of 6.414 seconds to take victory in style. It’s just the latest example of skill and ability behind the wheel for Anna this season. With two rounds left in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America season, Anna leads the Championship by fourteen points.

Part of the European Baja Cup, the latest round held in Greece was the second of eight rounds to be held this year. Fan favourite Hedda Hosås was there along with her trusty sidekick and co-driver Pol Tibau. Competing in the T4 class, Hedda didn’t let that stop her from taking the fight to those at the top of the overall field. The Norwegian finished in second place in the SSV class, third overall and first in both the junior class and the ladies class. Not a bad outing at all for Hosås and something that she and her team can be incredibly proud of.

Hedda and Pol then rounded out the month in Italy for the Italian Baja. Despite problems over the weekend, they still managed to bring home P3 at the event and more important points for the championship. Such was their importance that they left Italy leading the SSV Baja World Cup! It’s fair to say June ended up being pretty good for Hedda.

Elsewhere at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain, Aimée Watts racked up two third place finishes across the weekend as she competed in the RS Am Class. It proved to be a tricky weekend to pull this kind of a result of due to both weather conditions, track penalties and qualifying position but Watts didn’t let any of that get in her way as she fought and earned her place onto the podium not once but twice. Cheers to that.
